Smarana Path ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it, whenever you submit a form to us, whether that's a form on our website or a lead form on Facebook or Instagram. If we start collecting information through other tools (for example, a booking tool or payment processor), we will update this policy to reflect that.

What information we collect
When you submit a form to us, whether a form on our website (smaranapath.com) or a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, we collect the information you provide, which may include:
Your name
Your email address
Your phone number (if requested on the form)
We collect this to track and respond to your submission, for example, to send you information about the Resilient Self program.
Our website is hosted on Squarespace, so if you submit a form on our website, we also provide that information to Squarespace, our website hosting provider, so they can provide website services to us and help us manage our relationship with you. If a form on our website is ever connected to another tool for storage (for example, an email marketing platform), we'll update this section to name that tool.
If you submit our lead form on Facebook or Instagram instead, that information is submitted to us through Meta's lead form tools. Meta's own data practices are described in Meta's Data Policy, which applies to how Meta handles your information as part of that process, separately from our own use of it described below.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
Send you information about the Resilient Self program
Follow up with you by email or, if you provided a phone number, by phone
Occasionally send related updates about our coaching offerings, which you can opt out of at any time
We do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not use it for anything beyond communicating with you about our programs.
Legal basis for processing (for visitors in the EU/EEA and UK)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your information based on your consent, given when you submit the lead form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us or unsubscribing from any email you receive.
Who we share your information with
We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your information may be processed by service providers who help us operate, such as Squarespace (our website host), Meta (the platform through which our Facebook/Instagram lead form is submitted), and an email service provider we use to send follow-up communications. These providers only process your information on our behalf.
International data transfers
Because we use tools like Meta that are based outside Switzerland, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries, including the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your information.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as needed to follow up with you about Resilient Self and any other programs you may be interested in, or until you ask us to delete it.
